BUILDING FOR GREATER EFFICIENCY & Sustainability
Building homes with the central focus on energy efficiency and long-term sustainability only makes for a sound investment. The rewards achieved by moving away from traditional low-cost construction techniques are measurable. In fact, we know how to build "better" but this does require a higher upfront cost. Using the benefits of advance building envelope design, houses can be constructed that are 60% more energy efficiency offering a significantly lower cost to the tenants. Plus these homes are healthier with less issues of mold, mild dew, rot, and water damage. All four of these conditions will have a detrimental impact on the sustainability and maintenance of the building. On many northern isolated location the electrical costs to maintain a home is are very high because the effective energy efficiency of the home is very low. Using the combination of exterior rigid insulation and interior spray foam offers the ultimate solution to eliminate air leakage, convectional heat loss and conductive heat loss through the framing.

Spray foam adds a major impact to these Retro Upgrade! Increasing energy efficiency, comfort and durability is a Northern INVESTEMENT in a community infrastructure. It's about sustainability for the long term.
